Mediator's Role
The role of the mediator is to help both parties come to a successful agreement about issues that will affect their future and to avoid the necessity of litigating their disputes in Court. Through family mediation, both parties will determine what they believe is a fair and equitable solution that best suits their particular situation. The mediator will not impose an agreement upon the parties.
Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep all negotiations and communications in mediation confidential.
Resolution
The mediator will work to help both parties negotiate a settlement and, if successful, prepare a written summary that reflects this agreement.
